Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
TradeIntel (“we”, “us”) is a decision-intelligence tool for global procurement, available at trade-intel.net. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create a free Procurement Workspace, we receive your email address, your name, and (if provided by your sign-in provider) your profile image. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, this information comes from that provider; if you sign in with an email link, we store the email address you enter.
Session cookies. We use cookies to keep you signed in and to count how many free analyses an anonymous visitor has run. These cookies are required for the site to work and are not used for advertising.
Usage analytics. We record product analytics events (for example, which pages are viewed and which features are used) to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Analytics events are associated with a random identifier, and with your account once you sign in.
Analysis inputs. The selections you make when running an analysis (such as countries, products, and assessment answers) are processed to produce your results and may be stored with your workspace so you can return to them.
Aggregate market signals. When a signed-in user completes a trade-lane or market-discovery analysis, we may retain coarse, de-identified dimensions such as the origin, destination, direction, two-digit HS chapter, and date. The signal record does not contain an account, email, company, IP address, session identifier, free text, or analysis result. If you explicitly opt in beside a procurement concern, we store only a controlled theme derived from it, never your original words.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: sign-in, your workspace, and your analyses.
- To enforce fair-use limits on free analyses.
- To understand usage and improve the product.
- To produce minimum-size, aggregate demand signals for separately entitled partners. These signals describe platform activity, not verified trade volume or purchase intent.
- To send service emails, such as sign-in links.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site: hosting and database infrastructure, sign-in providers (Google and Microsoft, when you choose them), an email delivery service for sign-in links, and a product analytics service. These providers process data only on our behalf to operate the service.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account information and saved analyses while your account exists. You can delete your account yourself at any time: open your Procurement Workspace and choose “Delete account”. Deletion is immediate and permanent — it removes your account, your linked sign-in methods, your active sessions, and your saved analyses. If you prefer, you can instead ask us to delete your account by contacting us at the address below. Submissions made outside your account — for example report requests, partner applications, or feedback forms — are not linked to it; contact us if you would like those removed as well.
Coarse market-signal events are kept for no more than 180 days. Partner-facing segments are shown only when at least five eligible events are present; smaller cohorts are suppressed rather than exposed. Partners receive aggregates and coverage notes only, never raw activity or personal histories.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
